Black radishes have a black or dull brow skin, but a crisp, white and slightly bitter flesh.

Description

The black radishes are larger than traditional spring radishes.
Depending upon variety, they can be round or cylindrical and elongated.

Black radishes are an excellent source of vitamin C and provide potassium, iron and magnesium, as well as vitamins A, E and B.
They can be eaten raw or cooked.
